A lot of people do interactive these days. The trouble is, they don’t know when to stop doing it. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. So yes, we can do a 30-second Flash intro with spinning logos and dancing hamsters.

And yes, we can create a CD-ROM that looks like a Pink Floyd laser light show. But should we? Not unless A) You’re Pink Floyd. Or B) Your company sells dance lessons to rodents.
