The Wallace Agencys Frances Little West Promoted to Vice President of Operations
ROANOKE, Va., February 12, 2002The Wallace Agency, an advertising firm based in Roanoke, has promoted Frances Little West to the position of vice president of operations.
West has been with the agency since 1992, working as a mechanical artist, traffic coordinator, production manager and office manager. In her new role, West will oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, manage finances and internal systems, and supervise the companys support staff. She will also serve as account manager on several of the agencys advertising accounts.
Given the incredible growth weve experienced in the past year, we needed someone to look at the big picture and keep everything running smoothly, said Katie Wallace Wetherington, president of The Wallace Agency. With all of her experience in this company and this industry, nobody is better suited to that role than Frances.
West is a graduate of Virginia Tech. She has served on the board of the YWCA of the Roanoke Valley and is a founding member and banjo player for The Wild Turkeys, an old-time Appalachian string band.
The Wallace Agency provides marketing and creative services to a wide variety of local, regional and national clients from its studio at 106 Mountain Avenue in the historic Old Southwest section of Roanoke.
